This is a vintage mid-century modern Italian leather decanter bottle, circa 1960s to 1970s, made in Florence, Italy for export as souvenir barware. It is the classic Florentine leather bottle with a ball stopper that collectors know from makers like Fausto Corduri and other Italian leather shops supplying the American market in the 60s and 70s.

Under the leather is heavy, dark green glass. The bottle is decorative barware, not a modern production piece. It features a leather-wrapped ball stopper with a brown leather rim, a braided leather cord wrapped around the neck for grip, and a tooled leather body with horizontal bands. This example has the striped brown and black band pattern on the lower body, one of the most common export patterns. The bottom retains the original gold foil Made in Italy sticker, confirming age and origin. Inside is clean and empty, with a wooden stopper insert and plastic cork that still seals. The bottle measures approximately 9.5 to 10 inches tall with the stopper on, and about 4 inches wide at the base.

These bottles were mass-produced in Italy in the 1960s and 1970s and sold as wine carafes, whiskey decanters, and shelf decor for home bars.
