FAQ Contact us. Good Morning 956 is a curated shop of secondhand, upcycled, and small-batch handmade pieces finished by hand in our workshop in McAllen, TX. Each item is one-of-a-kind. We are currently open by appointment only or online.
What is a Vignette? Why does it disappear?
A Vignette is a limited, themed installation of products curated together. Once it’s gone, it’s gone forever. I curate a new one at least once a month. This lets us keep inventory fresh and truly one-of-a-kind.
Do you ship? Where do you ship?
Not all products are available for shipping. Each product page will state if it is available for shipping or is Local Pickup Only.
For shippable items, we ship within the United States to the zones we currently service. Shipping costs and methods vary by item and are calculated at checkout.
Currently, as we are testing the market, we are limiting shipping to: Texas only. This may expand in the future.
How much is shipping?
Shipping is not a flat rate. Shipping cost depends on the individual item’s size, weight, dimensions, destination, and carrier. The exact shipping cost for an item will be shown on the product page and at checkout before you pay.
What is Local Pickup and how does it work?
Local Pickup in 956 Only – Serving McAllen, Mission, Edinburg, Pharr, Weslaco. After checkout, text (956) 733-7221 to schedule pickup from our McAllen workshop. We are by appointment only, no public hours. Bring help for furniture – some vignettes are solid wood. Some small items ship – see Shipping Policy.
Are you open to the public? Can I visit your workshop?
No. We are a McAllen Workshop – No Storefront – By Appointment Only. No walk-ins. Pickup address in McAllen is shared after you book a pickup time via (956) 733-7221. This matches our Google profile which is hidden for privacy.
Are your products new?
Most pieces are secondhand, thrifted, or upcycled finds that we have cleaned, repaired, and finished by hand. Some are small-batch handmade. Because of this, each piece is one-of-a-kind and may have slight imperfections or variations that are part of its character and history. This will be noted in the product description.
What is your return and refund policy?
Due to the one-of-a-kind nature of our products, all sales are final unless your item arrives damaged or defective. Please review our full Return and Refund Policy Page for details.
If your shippable item arrives damaged, contact us within 24 hours at info@artcmcallen.com with photos.
When will I get my order?
Orders are processed within 2-3 business days after payment confirmation. If your item is being shipped, you will receive a tracking number via email. If your item is Local Pickup Only, you will receive pickup instructions via email.
Do you do custom orders or commissions?
We are not currently accepting custom orders. However, when there is time, we do announce limited custom commissions. Please email us through the contact page with your idea, dimensions, and budget.
How often do you release new products?
We release new products with each new Vignette. The next one drops about every 30 days. To be the first to see the next Vignette, join our waitlist on the homepage.
